Warning Date: 3:04 PM EST on February 8, 2010

WarningSum:...Winter Storm Warning In Effect From 9 Am Tuesday To 4 Pm Est
Wednesday...

Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a
Winter Storm Warning for snow...in effect from 9 am Tuesday to 4
PM EST Wednesday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.
* Precipitation type...snow.
* Accumulations...6 to 12 inches.
* Timing...mid-morning Tuesday through Wednesday afternoon.
* Temperatures...temperatures near freezing Tuesday. Temperatures
  will drop into the low to mid 20s Tuesday night. Upper 20s are
  expected on Wednesday.
* Winds...light southeasterly winds Tuesday becoming west-
  northwesterly at 15 to 25 mph Wednesday morning.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected or occurring. The combination of snow and strong winds
will make travel very hazardous.
