Christian Fellowship
Christian Fellowship is a club that meets on every first Friday of each month. It is a club that allows all the Christians of the school come together as one before the Lord. Christian Fellowship is led by Pastor Don Evans.
Christian Fellowship brings the Christians of the school to be a light in the school. Many of the members Christian Fellowship are members of the youth groups of the churches in the area. Christian Fellowship takes a part in the annual Christmas program at school. The members afterwards, often put on what is called a "Human Video" for certain occasions such as the Christmas program and the meetings of Christian Fellowship.
Many of the former students at East Hardy that were in Christian Fellowship have continued to serve the lord because of the effect it had on them. former students often come back on club days that Christian Fellowship is held. They give testimonies about how the lord has been moving in their lives. Some of the regular former students that attend the meetings are: Rachel Evans, Mandy Simmons, and Morgan Ship.
The leader of Christian fellowship is Pastor Dan Evans of the Assemblies of God in Wardensville W.V. Each year Pastor Dan arranges with Mr. Wilson for Radical Youth Invasion. they talk about drugs, gangs and God.When R.Y.I they do Human Videos for the school and they break cement blocks with their arms, tear the Yellow Pages phonebooks in two, and afterwards give testimonies. In the "97-98" school year, the school was fortunate to have a former student in the R.Y.I., and when he came back with them and made a huge impression on the students. He is just one of the many former members and students that has gone on to serve the Lord after his graduation from East Hardy.
Christian Fellowship is a proud representative of the R.Y.I. All of the members of this club encourage each and every person to serve God and have a chance to live in paradise when the end comes.
Thank you,
Christian Fellowship
